Misty Prince is the Resource Manager for the Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Partnership housed in the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services. Misty started at UT CIS in 2003 as a Manufacturing Consultant and has over twenty years of experience managing manufacturing operations and continuous improvement projects across a broad range of industries. Ms. Prince currently leads the TMEP resource consultant team, helps write and manage several Federal grants, and coordinates new program development.  

Misty holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is a Tennessee Certified Economic Developer, certified National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) lean trainer, and a SME Bronze level lean certified sensei.

Carmen O’Hagan brings her years of private industry experience to the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services (UT CIS) as the Chattanooga-area Solutions Consultant. She specializes in assisting manufacturers identify challenges they are experiencing in order to connect them with solutions that can enhance their business operations, quality, workforce development, and community impact.

Before joining UT CIS, Carmen honed her skills in the chemical manufacturing industry, focusing on workforce development, process improvement, sales, and customer support. She has demonstrated a strong commitment to community advancement, having served as President of the Marion County Chamber of Commerce and as a founding member of the Marion County Manufacturers Association. Carmen is a proud graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
