Employee Biography:
Mark Sebby is a Solutions Consultant with the Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Partnership. He brings more than 30 years of experience leading quality and lean improvement initiatives in manufacturing, including 22 years in the automotive industry in engineering and management roles and 13 years consulting across a wide range of industries. His project work applies tools such as DOE, value stream mapping, theory of constraints, and advanced statistical analysis to improve yield, reduce material usage, and eliminate waste.
Mr. Sebby guides companies through the creation and certification of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100, and ISO 14001. He also leads Kaizen events, quick changeover, cellular manufacturing, standard work, and downtime reduction projects. Earlier in his career he held quality management and quality engineering positions with Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, where he supported multiple facility start-ups, validated new processes and products, and secured customer approvals ahead of product launch.
Mr. Sebby holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Lincoln Memorial University. He has been a certified Six Sigma Black Belt since 2001 and holds BSI lead auditor certifications in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100D.
